Each one of these sculptures have been lovingly handcast in a special sculptural medium called cast stone. It has a lovely smooth natural feel and a pleasantly satisfying weight and texture. All of my sculptures feel wonderful when you hold them in your hands and are meant to be picked up and touched as well as looked at. Each sculpture has been individually signed with my signature inscribed into the bottom of the sculpture

"Precious" comes with a beautiful story card which includes the meaning and ideas behind the creation of the sculpture.

'Playtime’ This sculpture symbolises that happy state of playtime, when nestled securely in the Mother's loving arms, a baby reaches towards the face above in exploration and wonder. Playtime is that special time where nothing is more important than the joy that spontaneously appears. A Mother and her Child forget all else and enter together into a world of shared wonder and happiness. A special gold wash has been rubbed into each sculpture to enhance the variations in texture and detail. Please note that due to the handmade nature of the sculptures, no two of these lover's sculptures are exactly alike, and the final finish may very slightly from what is shown in the picture.

Each sculpture is shipped encased inside a thick walled, tough cardboard box. For added protection, each sculpture is surrounded by several layers of bubble wrap.

Mother and Child sculpture series - complete set This series of sculptures began at a very special time. A friend came over to model for us with her six month old son. She spent a relaxing day in our studio just lazing back and enjoying the special moments with her child. There was such a wonderful feeling of peacefulness and love between the two of them, that it effortlessly flowed over into these sculptures. Many women from many different cultures have told me they remember holding their babies in one or all of these poses. Perhaps you do too. I was born in Australia and spent many years wandering to strange place around the world, and my sculptures are influenced by many different cultures.

My sculptures are a sensual experience. A good sculptural work calls out to be touched as well as looked at. In my work I try to create artworks which evoke an instant tactile response.

Often when I am sculpting my hands just seem to take over. It's almost as if my mind switches off or goes on holidays. It is a state of being outside of time for me. Many hours can pass as almost unconsciously the sculpture seems to create itself.

Q. How securely are your sculptures shipped?
A. We do everything possible to insure that your artworks arrive to you undamaged and in good condition. All Sculptures are are extensively packaged in protective foam or bubble wrap and placed in thick walled cardboard export cartons for extra strength and security. Q. What if after the Sculpture arrives I wish to exchange it?
A. It's very important to us that you are happy with the Artworks that you purchase. All of our paintings, prints and sculptures are shipped to you with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the artwork, send it back undamaged within 90 days of receiving it and you can exchange it for a different artwork of your choice to a similar value. Q. Do you have a showroom or studio?
A. Yes. Our home and studio gallery is located on Dangar Island, less than one hour north of Sydney in the picturesque Hawksbury River estuary.

Q. Is it possible to come to your studio gallery and view the artworks before I purchase?

A. You are very welcome to come to our studio gallery. It is essential to make an appointment and give us several days notice, as we are often away doing interstate art shows.
